Puspakom Now Offers Next-Day Vehicle Inspections For RM150 At Three Branches
Author Avatar

Puspakom has launched a paid priority booking service that lets you secure a vehicle inspection appointment for the next working day, at an introductory fee of RM150 per vehicle. The service, called GiCheck Early Access Reservation (G.E.A.R), began on 19 July 2026 at three inspection centres: Batu Caves, Glenmarie, and Wangsa Maju.

You can make a G.E.A.R booking through the GiCheck online platform, and you will receive a priority appointment confirmation once the booking goes through. Regular inspection appointments remain free to book through Puspakom’s existing system.

Built For Urgent Cases Like Ownership Transfers

Puspakom says the service is aimed at private vehicle owners who need an inspection done quickly, such as those completing a vehicle ownership transfer or meeting financing requirements. If you are selling your car and the buyer’s bank needs the inspection report before releasing funds, waiting for a regular slot can hold up the entire sale.

Inspection slots are usually harder to secure during month-end periods and festive seasons, when transfer and financing transactions pile up. G.E.A.R gives you a way to skip that queue during those crunch periods.

Only a small portion of each participating branch’s daily inspection capacity is set aside for G.E.A.R customers, according to Puspakom. The majority of appointments will continue to be available through the normal booking system at no extra charge.

Weighing RM150 Against The Cost Of Waiting

If a stalled ownership transfer means your car sale falls through, or a financing deadline slips because you cannot get an inspection report in time, paying RM150 gets you a confirmed slot the next working day. For a routine inspection with no deadline attached, you can book through the regular system at no extra charge.

Do note that the RM150 is an introductory fee, so it may change once the pilot period ends. The service is also limited to the three Klang Valley branches for now, and Puspakom has not given a timeline for the nationwide expansion, only that it depends on customer demand.
