Touch ‘n Go eWallet has introduced a new feature designed for motorists, known as LPR Parking. This feature allows users to enter and exit parking areas seamlessly without the need to tap a card at the terminal.

LPR Parking operates using licence plate recognition technology, enabling vehicles to pass through without requiring drivers to open their windows. It also eliminates the need for manual ticket payments or tapping a card at a terminal, streamlining the parking experience.

Currently, the number of supported locations is limited, but more are expected to be added progressively. Users of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app can activate this feature by navigating to the LPR Parking menu, registering their vehicle’s licence plate, and enabling the service. Parking payments are automatically deducted from the available balance in the eWallet, offering a more convenient and efficient way to manage parking fees.
