As we come to the end of an extraordinary year, we thought of ending the year on a happier note. With all that’s happened this year, it’s easy to forget that it has been a very interesting time in the personal finance space.
2020 saw the “normalisation” of cashless payments, including the timely introduction of e-wallets as well as PayNet’s DuitNow initiative. And as usual, we saw some fantastic credit cards launched, both in the cashback and air miles/rewards points space.
But which credit cards deserved to be recognised as the best among the hundreds in Malaysia? Which banks should be commended for their efforts in making banking accessible? Which were your favourite e-wallet apps?
That’s the purpose behind the introduction of The RinggitPlus Awards, an editorial initiative to recognise the best and outstanding efforts and products in the industry. The Readers’ Choice Awards would also give a voice to the community, which ultimately is what this is all about. Who knows, your votes here and in the coming years could actually shape the products of tomorrow?
Without further ado, I’d like you to take part in the first-ever RinggitPlus Readers’ Choice Awards. As a token of appreciation, all participants will receive a free Personal Credit Report Plus from Experian to help you kickstart your financial planning for the new year.
We’ll be collecting responses from now until 28 December, and will announce the results by the end of the year. Happy voting!
Subscribe to our exclusive weekly newsletter and we’ll bring you the week’s highlights of financial news, expert tips, guides, and the latest credit card and e-wallet deals.
Stay tuned for what’s to come next in the personal finance world
