Samsung Malaysia has announced a Celebratory Launch Promotion for the Galaxy Note 20 series that will kick off from 21 August 2020. Malaysians who purchase a Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will receive freebies worth RM508, while early bird customers can even walk away with a 50″ 4K TV worth RM2,599.

In lieu of the usual nationwide roadshows that are usually held as part of a flagship Samsung launch, the Celebratory Launch Promotion will allow less physical interaction while still rewarding customers who purchase the device. From 21 August until 31 October 2020, all Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra purchases will come with a complimentary set worth RM508 comprising of a Samsung UV Steriliser With Wireless Charger as well as a Samsung Wireless Charger Convertible.

Besides that, Samsung is again offering early birds the chance to walk away with a Samsung 50-inch 4K TV worth RM2,599. Naturally, the mechanics of this early bird promotion has been tweaked to reduce physical interaction: where previously Samsung only offered the free TV promotion to early bird customers at its roadshows, the company is allocating 1,200 units to the first Note 20 owners who activate their device and submit their proof of purchase through the Samsung Redemption Management System. The portal will be open for submissions from 23 August 2020 at 10pm until 11:59pm, 27 August, but redemption eligibility will be on a first come, first served basis – so if you’re keen, you’ll need to be fast.

On top of that, those who purchase their Galaxy Note 20 devices at participating outlets will also be eligible to get a 20% discount for Samsung-branded cases for the Note 20 series. Each customer is eligible to purchase two cases at the discounted prices with every Note 20 purchase.

Finally, Samsung is also offering its usual trade-up programme for the Galaxy Note 20 series. Depending on the device and its condition, customers can trade up their old devices and get a rebate off a brand new Galaxy Note 20 – the full list of devices can be found here.

In any case, the official pre-order window for the Galaxy Note 20 series is still open, and will only close midnight tomorrow (20 August 2020). That means you still have a chance of enjoying both the pre-order freebies worth more than the launch promo freebies, and still get a chance to win the free 4K TV.
