CelcomDigi Introduces New 5G Prepaid Passes With Clear Data, Speed Options
Author Avatar

CelcomDigi has expanded its prepaid 5G mobile Internet lineup with new passes aimed at users who want predictable pricing and clearer choices around data usage and speed. The new options are designed for everyday mobile needs, whether users prioritise large data quotas or prefer unlimited access with defined speed tiers.

The latest passes are available nationwide and come with a standard 30-day validity period.

Prepaid 5G Hyper Passes Focus On High Data Allowances

The Prepaid 5G Hyper range is targeted at users who mainly want more data each month without committing to an unlimited plan. The Prepaid 5G Hyper 30 includes 50GB of mobile Internet for RM30, while the Prepaid 5G Hyper 35 offers 100GB for RM35.

Both passes are valid for 30 days and include unlimited calls to all domestic networks. Hotspot usage is also supported, allowing users to share their mobile data across devices when needed.

5G Power Passes Offer Unlimited Data With Speed Tiers

For users who prefer not to track monthly data usage, CelcomDigi is also offering 5G Power prepaid Internet passes that come with unlimited data, subject to a Fair Usage Policy. These plans differ mainly in their maximum Internet speeds and Fair Usage Policy thresholds.

The 5G Power 35 pass is priced at RM35 and provides speeds of up to 18Mbps, with usage subject to a 100GB Fair Usage Policy. The 5G Power 45 costs RM45 and increases the speed to up to 48Mbps, with a higher 200GB Fair Usage Policy threshold. Both passes are valid for 30 days and include unlimited calls.

Power Plus Passes Combine Higher Speeds And Streaming Access

Users looking for faster Internet speeds and bundled entertainment can opt for the 5G Power Plus passes. The 5G Power Plus 55 is priced at RM55 and offers speeds of up to 100Mbps, along with access to Viu Premium. The 5G Power Plus 65 costs RM65 and comes with uncapped speeds and Prime Video access.

Both Power Plus passes include unlimited data, subject to a 200GB Fair Usage Policy, and are valid for 30 days with unlimited domestic calls.

Fair Usage Policy Determines Speed After High Usage

All 5G Power and Power Plus prepaid passes are subject to CelcomDigi’s Fair Usage Policy. Once the applicable usage threshold is fully utilised, Internet speeds will be reduced to 512kbps until the pass expires. Users are not charged on a pay-per-use basis after reaching the Fair Usage Policy limit.

This policy is already in force and applies across all unlimited prepaid Internet passes offered by CelcomDigi.

How To Subscribe To The New Prepaid Passes

Existing CelcomDigi customers can subscribe to these prepaid passes through the CelcomDigi app. New customers can sign up at any CelcomDigi store nationwide. Full terms, conditions, and additional details are available on the CelcomDigi website.

For users weighing prepaid mobile options, the expanded 5G lineup provides clearer trade-offs between data volume, speed, and bundled benefits, helping them choose a plan that aligns more closely with their everyday Internet usage.
