CelcomDigi Is Retiring the Celcom Life and MyDigi Apps on 1 April
Author Avatar

Both the Celcom Life and MyDigi apps will stop working on 1 April, as CelcomDigi finalises its shift to a single unified platform. The retirement has been signalled since the CelcomDigi app launched late last year, when the company confirmed the older apps would eventually be phased out, the shutdown of the Celcom Life Hub website back in May was part of the same process.

The transition has already started for prepaid users

CelcomDigi began sunsetting prepaid-related transactions on both legacy apps from 6 March, so some prepaid features may have already stopped working. Postpaid users will likely notice fewer disruptions in the meantime, but both apps will stop functioning entirely once 1 April arrives regardless of which plan you’re on.

What the new app does

The CelcomDigi app handles both Celcom and Digi lines from a single login, so if you have lines on both networks you can view and manage them in one place. Day-to-day tasks, checking data usage, changing plans, managing add-ons like Disney+ subscriptions, are all handled through the same interface. There’s a daily login rewards feature as well, if that’s relevant to you.

For help navigating the new platform, the app includes an AI-powered chatbot called AI-RA that can walk you through account management and answer common questions.

The CelcomDigi app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. With 1 April approaching, switching now avoids any gap in access to your account.
