From baju raya shopping to reunion dinners and balik kampung flights, Hari Raya spending can add up faster than you’d like. The silver lining is that banks, hotels, retailers, and airlines are rolling out plenty of promotions this season. We’ve gathered the most relevant Ramadan and Raya deals in one place, so you can make the most of the celebrations without blowing your budget.
Malaysian banks have launched cashback campaigns and lucky draws tied to the festive season. Most come with spending thresholds and eligibility requirements, so read the fine print before assuming you qualify.
Using the right card for your iftar gatherings or festive shopping can stretch your Ringgit further through cashback or rewards points. These promotions typically come with minimum spend requirements and caps, so they work best for larger bills rather than everyday meals.
We’ve already covered the full Klang Valley buffet scene in our Ultimate Guide to Ramadan Buffets 2026, including early bird pricing and hotel-by-hotel breakdowns.
For those bypassing the hotel circuit entirely, IKEA works as an accessible iftar destination with no reservation required. Seasonal menu items include Baked Chicken Mandi at RM16.90, Lamb Kabsa at RM24.90, and Lamb Shank Kabsa at RM44.90, alongside live stations for cendol and bubur lambuk. It’s not glamorous, but at RM25 per head versus RM250, the maths speaks for itself.
Homst Restaurant offers set menus for 10 pax priced between RM729 and RM1,050 across their nine outlets, bringing the per-person cost down to around RM75. This is a practical option for large, price-sensitive families.
If you’re hosting a Hari Raya open house, professional catering can work out cheaper than cooking everything yourself.
Most baju raya shopping has moved online, with Shopee and Zalora now the main game in town for ready-to-wear collections.
Shopee and Zalora now carry most of the homegrown fashion labels. Shopee’s “Bazar Hebat Ramadan” hosts curated collections from UMMA and Asikin Ahmad, with platform-exclusive vouchers offering 15% off on minimum RM80 or RM130 spends.
Zalora runs a complex matrix of promo codes layered with banking partnerships. The trick is stacking them: a RM200 baju kurung at 25% off plus 15% Maybank discount comes to RM127.50.

Refreshing the home before Raya is an annual tradition, and retailers know it. This year, the big names are offering gifts with purchase and e-wallet cashback rather than straight discounts.
Samsung: The “Gong Xi Raya 2026” campaign runs through 31 March 2026, offering up to RM4,499 in value for TV, audio, and appliance purchases. Rewards come as Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit (up to RM4,000 for TVs, RM300 for audio/appliances) and Samsonite luggage valued at RM1,299. If you’re already planning a big appliance purchase, these extras are hard to ignore. Cross-category bundling (TV + Soundbar, Washer + Dryer) triggers up to RM500 extra Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit.
Senheng and senQ: The “Toshiba Riang Ria Raya” promotion offers Touch ‘n Go eWallet rebates from RM30 to RM800 depending on the appliance, alongside Buy 1 Free 1 mechanics on selected items.
Harvey Norman: The Mid Valley KL Flagship Store is running a Mega Raya Sale with up to 80% off or RM4,000 in savings on furniture and electronics. Harvey Norman also offers a 20% discount (capped at RM20) when using PayLater by Grab.
IKEA: The new GOKVÄLLÅ collection features brass-toned tealight lanterns, specialised tableware, floor cushions, and LED lighting chains for affordable festive home decoration. The STRANDTORP extendable table seats eight, useful if you’re hosting and need the extra space.
Balik kampung is non-negotiable for most families, and flight prices have historically spiked during peak travel windows. The good news: major carriers have instituted fixed-fare structures under government mandate this year, so you won’t see the usual algorithmic price gouging.
| Airline | Sarawak Base Fare | Sabah Base Fare |
| Firefly | RM298 | RM348 |
| AirAsia | RM328 | RM398 |
| Malaysia Airlines | RM339 | RM399 |
During the absolute peak window (17-20 March 2026), fares are capped at RM548 for Firefly, RM569 for Malaysia Airlines, and around RM600 for AirAsia.
Malaysia Aviation Group (Malaysia Airlines and Firefly) has deployed over 2,700 additional domestic flights for the festive surge. Malaysia Airlines operates up to 1,557 of these, with aircraft upgrades on high-traffic routes like Alor Setar, Kota Bharu, Kuching, Tawau, and Kota Kinabalu, plus late-night red-eye flights.
AirAsia has set base fixed fares at RM328 for KL-Sarawak routes (Kuching, Miri, Sibu, Bintulu) and RM398 for KL-Sabah routes (Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, Sandakan). The airline has added 150 supplementary domestic flights and over 4,400 total flights during the festive period.

Unlisted codes also offer RM25 off at tech retailers (Switch, senQ) via PayLater, and RM5 off the first GrabExpress delivery for new users.
The RM35 off a RM100 spend through PayLater represents a 35% effective discount. GrabFood’s Group Order feature with 20% off works well for office iftar gatherings. Grab is also offering 50% off the GrabUnlimited yearly plan, which locks in delivery savings for the rest of 2026.
The best Raya deals reward those who plan ahead. Book your buffet in February for 20-30% off. Stack your Zalora codes with bank discounts. Lock in fixed-fare flights before the caps fill up. And if you’re chasing bank cashback, check whether you actually meet the spending thresholds before counting on that money.
