KTM Intercity, ETS Tickets For Chinese New Year Period Now On Sale
Author Avatar

Tickets for the KTM Intercity trains and the Electric Train Service (ETS) for the travel period of 1 January to 31 March 2021 are on sale starting today.

According to Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), the opening of ticket sales is to allow for early travel planning – especially for those who are celebrating Chinese New Year, returning to their hometowns, and have plans for the holidays.

“The ETS train service will offer 24 trips daily while KTM Intercity still maintains the 18 daily trips,” said KTMB in a statement. “KTMB also offers two additional services for the ETS Business Class train for the KL Sentral-Butterworth round trip using the new schedule.”

The public are advised to get their tickets in advance to enjoy lower fares and multiplied savings. Those who buy their tickets early also have the option to select their seating compared to those with last-minute purchases.

You can purchase your tickets through the KTMB Mobile (KITS) mobile application or via the official KTMB website. For more information on the train service schedules, check online or contact the KTMB call centre at 03-22671200.
