Affin Bank has announced adjustments to its air miles conversion rates under the AFFIN Rewards Programme, which will come into effect on 1 April 2025. The revisions will impact several AFFIN credit cards, increasing the number of points required for conversion to air miles for Enrich (Malaysia Airlines), AirAsia, and Batik Air frequent flyer programmes.
For premium cardholders, the AFFIN INVIKTA™ Visa Infinite/World Mastercard/-i will require 8,000 AFFIN Rewards Points to redeem 1,000 air miles, up from 6,000 points previously. Similarly, the AFFIN World Mastercard/-i and AFFIN UKM Alumni Premier World/-i cards will now require 15,000 points for the same redemption, up from 10,000 points.
Other cardholders, including those with the AFFIN AVANCE™ Credit Card/-i, AFFIN DUO+ Credit Card, and other cards in the same tier, will experience a significant increase. For these cards, the rate for converting AFFIN Rewards Points to 1,000 Enrich Points will rise from 14,000 to 20,000 points. The same increase applies to AirAsia Points and Batik Air Points, which were previously redeemable at 12,000 AFFIN Rewards Points for 1,000 AirAsia Points or 10 Batik Air Points. These will also now require 20,000 points under the revised structure.

The bank has confirmed that all other benefits and privileges associated with AFFIN credit cards will remain unchanged. Customers can monitor their points balance via their monthly credit card statements or through the AFFIN Rewards online portal. For additional information on the revised conversion rates or assistance with points redemption, customers are encouraged to visit the AFFIN website or contact the bank’s customer service team.
