Maybank has announced revisions to the Air Miles conversion rate for its American Express Corporate Cards, effective from 2 March 2025. The revised rates will impact holders of the American Express Green Corporate Card, the American Express Gold Corporate Card, and the American Express Explorer Business Platinum Card.
Under the current conversion structure, cardholders of the Green and Gold Corporate Cards require 10,000 Membership Rewards Points to obtain 1,000 Enrich, KrisFlyer, or Asia Miles. However, with the new changes, the requirement will increase to 12,500 Membership Rewards Points for the same number of air miles. Similarly, for American Express Explorer Business Platinum Cardholders, the rate will shift from 7,000 Membership Rewards Points per 1,000 air miles to 12,500 Membership Rewards Points.

This revision follows a similar update in Maybank’s consumer credit card offerings, which will take effect on 22 February 2025. The bank has increased the number of points required for air miles conversion across several credit cards, including Visa Infinite and American Express Platinum cards. More details on these changes can be found here.
Despite these adjustments, Maybank has confirmed that other privileges and benefits associated with the American Express Corporate Cards will remain unchanged. Cardholders seeking further clarification on their benefits, terms, and conditions are encouraged to visit the official Maybank Corporate Cards website or contact the bank directly via the number on the back of their card.
