Alliance Bank Offers Cash Rewards During Chinese New Year Saturday Banking In Feb 2026

Alliance Bank Malaysia and Alliance Islamic Bank are offering cash rewards [PDF] to customers who open new accounts or sign up for selected banking segments during their Chinese New Year Saturday Banking promotion.

The branch-based promotion will run from 7 February 2026 to 13 February 2026 at participating Alliance Bank branches nationwide.

Cash Rewards Available For Account Sign-Ups

Customers who open a new current or savings account, known as CASA or CASA-i, may receive a cash reward of RM38. To qualify, customers must maintain a minimum balance of RM500 at the end of the account opening month.

The promotion applies to both conventional and Islamic banking products. For joint accounts, rewards will be credited to the primary account holder only.

Higher Rewards For Segment Customers And Junior Accounts

Customers who sign up as new Alliance Privilege customers may receive RM228, while those who sign up as new Alliance Personal customers may receive RM128. These rewards are subject to meeting the required minimum assets under management and deposit conditions set by the bank.

Parents or guardians who open a new Alliance Buddy or Alliance Junior Smart Saver-i account for a child below 18 years old may also receive RM38, provided the account maintains the minimum balance requirement.

Who Can Take Part In The Promotion

The promotion is open to new and existing individual customers who meet the eligibility criteria and complete the relevant product sign-ups during the promotion period.

Certain groups are excluded, including customers with dormant or delinquent accounts, insolvent individuals, employees of Alliance Bank Group, payroll customers under Alliance@Work, and non-individual entities such as companies, associations, and cooperatives.

Reward Limits And Credit Timeline

Each eligible customer may earn up to three rewards across different promotion categories, subject to availability. Rewards are capped and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cash rewards will be credited into the eligible account within 90 days after the promotion period ends, provided all conditions remain fulfilled.
