HLB Launches RM1 Million Experience Promotion For Visa Cardholders
Author Avatar

Hong Leong Bank has introduced its RM1 Million Experience Promotion, offering Visa credit and debit cardholders the chance to win a grand prize package worth over RM1 million, along with daily cashback rewards throughout the campaign period from 3 December 2025 to 2 March 2026.

Grand Prize Worth Over RM1 Million

The grand prize consists of four major rewards. The winner will receive a Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e, 999 gold worth RM310,000, a travel experience voucher worth RM200,000, and RM100,000 in cash credited into a Hong Leong Bank account. Prize fulfilment will be arranged after the winner is announced.

Thousands of cardholders will also receive daily cashback. Credit cardholders may win RM150 cashback each day, while debit cardholders may win RM50. Cashback is credited after the promotion period ends.

Who Can Join The Promotion

The promotion is open to new and existing principal Visa credit and debit cardholders whose cards are issued in Malaysia. Accounts must remain active and in good standing. No registration is required.

How To Earn Contest Entries

Cardholders earn entries by making eligible transactions of RM50 or more within a single day. The more qualifying swipes completed, the more entries are awarded. For example, three swipes earn a standard amount of entries, while five swipes provide a higher amount. Up to 180 entries can be earned per cardholder each day.

How To Boost Your Entries

Credit cardholders can earn even more entries through specific types of spending. Transactions made using Google Pay or Samsung Pay qualify for double entries. Spending in foreign currency at physical outlets overseas, as well as spending on designated Special Days, earns triple entries. These Special Days fall on selected dates in December 2025, January 2026, and February 2026.

If a transaction meets more than one enhanced category, the highest available entry rate is applied. Debit cardholders earn entries through standard spending only.

Eligible And Excluded Transactions

Most retail and online purchases, both locally and abroad, qualify if they meet the RM50 minimum. Excluded categories include hospital services, funeral services, balance transfers, fees, disputed transactions, and unsuccessful payments. Transactions must be posted within five days to qualify.

Foreign currency spending is converted into ringgit based on the rate applied by the bank. Spending by supplementary cardholders counts towards the principal cardholder’s entries.

How Winners Are Selected

Contest entries are processed through an automated random selection system. Shortlisted cardholders receive a notification through the HLB Connect App and must answer a question within 48 hours. A correct answer is required to secure the prize.

Cashback winners receive their rewards within 60 days of the campaign’s end. The grand prize is fulfilled approximately 30 days after the official announcement.

Hong Leong Bank may amend campaign terms [PDF], replace prizes with items of equivalent value, or disqualify participants who do not meet eligibility requirements. Updates will be shared through the bank’s official channels.
