Hong Leong Bank has launched a 0% Balance Transfer (BT) June Special Promotion running until 30 June. Available exclusively on HLB Connect, the special 0% rate is applicable for 6-month tenures.

Open to all existing principal HLB cardholders, this promotion allows you to transfer your outstanding credit card balance from other banks to any HLB Credit Card under your name. Alternatively, a unique HLB BT feature also allows you to credit the approved balance transfer amount directly to your personal HLB Current or Savings account. 

Cardholders can apply for a minimum of RM1,000 and up to a maximum of 90% of their card’s existing limit, subject to HLB’s approval. Another feature not applicable to most BT plans by other banks is that HLB allows cardholders to pay a minimum payment of 5% (or RM50, whichever is higher) of the monthly BT instalment by the statement due date without incurring any penalties or fees. However, the final payment at the end of the tenure must include the full outstanding amount.

Separately, if you decide to fully settle the outstanding balance in your BT account before the expiry of the BT repayment period, an early settlement fee of RM70 will be charged to your BT account.

Interested customers can apply for the 0% Balance Transfer June Special Promotion via the HLB Connect website or the HLB Connect app. No additional documents are required for the application process. 

Meanwhile, Hong Leong Bank customers can also expect another promotional campaign beginning on 8 July 2024, with highly anticipated rewards or gifts to be won, as it has previously teased.
