Paying Your TNB Bill Could Add Entries To A RM5 Million Zest-i Prize Draw
Author Avatar

Paying your Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) bill can now count towards additional entries in Maybank Islamic’s Zest-i account prize draw, which includes prizes across monthly, quarterly, and yearly draws with a combined pool reaching up to RM5 million.

The campaign runs from March 31 to June 30, 2026, and applies to both new and existing Zest-i account holders, with entries tied to how much is paid and whether the account balance is maintained throughout the month. New customers need to open a Zest-i account before taking part, while existing account holders can proceed directly with the balance and payment requirements.

Entries Are Linked To Both Balance And Bill Payments

A TNB payment alone does not qualify, as the campaign requires at least RM200 to be added into the Zest-i account as an increase in balance and maintained throughout the month, while the bill itself must be paid via FPX using a Maybank or Maybank Islamic account.

Both the average daily balance and the month-end balance are taken into account, which means the RM200 increase needs to stay in the account rather than being deposited briefly and withdrawn later.

Bill Size Determines How Many Entries Are Added

The number of additional entries depends on the total TNB bill paid within the same month, with payments of RM100 and above adding two entries, while payments below RM100 add one.

If multiple payments are made, they are combined into a single total, but only one set of entries is awarded for that month, which means splitting payments does not increase the number of entries beyond that limit.

Entries Feed Into A Larger Prize Draw Structure

The additional entries do not form a separate reward, but are added into the existing Zest-i account prize draw, which includes several layers of prizes.

These include monthly draws with cash rewards, quarterly draws featuring higher-value prizes such as vehicles and certificates, and a yearly draw with a grand prize reaching RM1 million, alongside other prizes across categories.

Entries earned in a given month are carried into the following draw cycle, which is typically conducted in the first week of the next month.

Each Month Is Counted Separately

Entries are calculated on a monthly basis, so repeating the same steps across different months can continue adding entries, while any month that does not meet the conditions will not contribute to the draw.

Even if multiple TNB bills are paid in the same month, only one set of campaign entries can be earned for that period.

Payment Method And Account Status Still Affect Eligibility

Only payments made through FPX using a Maybank or Maybank Islamic account qualify under the campaign, and the Zest-i account must remain active until the draw is completed.

Closing the account before the draw takes place means any entries earned during the campaign period will not be counted.
