GXBank has offered a glimpse into some of the new offerings that it is set to roll out over the course of this year, which includes protection and lending products. These are on top of upcoming Hari Raya promotions, as well as programmes that are aimed at helping the underserved communities.
According to the digital bank, it expects to introduce its first non-deposit products – such as loans and insurance – sometime in the second half of 2024. The loan offerings, specifically, will be provided to both consumers as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Details on these will be shared in due course closer to their launches.
In the meantime, the digital bank will also be introducing a few other initiatives and promos, with the most immediate being the Raya Pocket promo, in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations. This promotion – which is set to run from 10 April to 9 May – will offer exclusive daily interest that you can earn when you save via GXBank’s Pocket feature.

Aside from that, GXBank is also introducing various initiatives that are focused on education for the underserved community. This is in line with its recent official launch of the Impian GIGih initiative, aimed at helping Malaysians build financial resilience, especially gig workers and individuals from the B40 segment.
The digital bank is also slated to officially roll out a referral programme within its app in April. This is a follow-up to the latest app update, in which it has now enabled support for DuitNow QR payments as well as Bahasa Malaysia for the app.
GXBank was officially made available to all Malaysians in November 2023, and is the first digital bank to begin operating in the country and has already achieved the 100,000 user milestone less than three months in operation. It also offers a debit card, which provides unlimited 1% cashback on various online and offline transactions.
