Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim – who is also the Finance Minister – has tabled the national budget for year 2024 today. Dubbed the second Madani Budget, it has an allocation of RM393.8 billion – the biggest one to be tabled to date – and will seek to continue many of the efforts and aspirations that had been kickstarted in Budget 2023 as the first Madani Budget.
This time guided by the theme of “Madani Economy: Empowering The People”, here are several key highlights from the Budget 2024 that was just tabled, and what you can expect from it:
