AmBank has refreshed its BonusLink Visa Credit Cards with a stronger rewards structure and an industry-first instant cash conversion feature. The upgrade aims to give cardholders greater value for everyday spending, supported by enhanced benefits across Shell, Parkson, and key daily categories.
The refreshed programme increases point earnings across fuel, shopping, dining, groceries, and overseas transactions. BonusLink Visa Signature cardholders now earn five additional BonusLink Points for every Ringgit spent at Shell and Parkson, along with two Points per Ringgit on dining, grocery, retail, and overseas transactions. BonusLink Visa Platinum cardholders earn three additional Points per Ringgit at Shell and Parkson, and one Point per Ringgit in the same everyday categories. These changes aim to match current consumer habits, particularly in essential and lifestyle spending.
Cardholders can convert BonusLink Points directly into cash, credited instantly into their AmBank Current or Savings account. This feature is available once the BonusLink account is linked to the AmOnline app, where users can monitor point balances and redeem rewards. It is positioned as the first instant point-to-cash conversion of its kind in Malaysia.
All cardholders receive a complimentary upgrade to Shell Gold Tier Membership until 31 December 2026. The Gold Tier offers double BonusLink Points per litre with Shell FuelSave95, five times the Points with Shell V-Power Racing, and five times the Points with a cumulative RM30 spend on Shell Select or Shell lubricants. Shell Café vouchers can also be redeemed for one BonusLink Point via the BLINK or Shell App.
New applicants can earn up to 45,000 BonusLink Points when they apply for an AmBank BonusLink Visa Credit Card and meet the minimum spend requirement within 60 days of card approval. This welcome offer runs from 3 December 2025 until 31 March 2026.
AmBank and Shell highlight that the enhanced credit card benefits are designed to help Malaysians stretch their Ringgit further, particularly through fuel savings and the strengthened BonusLink ecosystem. These updates align with BonusLink’s broader strategy to expand its coalition network, improve digital features, and offer more personalised rewards to its members.
The refreshed programme is supported by BonusLink’s network of nearly 5,000 merchant touchpoints nationwide. Members can earn and redeem Points across essential categories such as fuel, groceries, lifestyle, and e-commerce, consolidating rewards under a single platform.
Malaysians interested in the enhanced AmBank BonusLink Visa Credit Cards can apply online through AmBank’s official website. Applicants will need to meet standard card eligibility requirements, and terms and conditions apply to all rewards and promotional offers.
