Public Bank Launches “Spend MORE, Get MORE” Visa Credit Card Campaign
Author Avatar

Public Bank has launched a new Visa credit card spending campaign that rewards cardholders with monthly cash back and a Top Spender prize. The “Spend MORE, Get MORE with PB Visa Credit Card” campaign is available to principal Visa credit cardholders of Public Bank Berhad and Public Islamic Bank Berhad and runs for a limited period.

Earn Monthly Cash Back Based On Local Spending

Registered cardholders can receive monthly cash back when they meet minimum local retail spending thresholds. Cash back begins at RM48 with a minimum monthly spend of RM3,000 and increases at higher spending levels.

The maximum cash back available is RM188 per cardholder per month. Cash back is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to a monthly allocation limit determined by the bank.

High Spenders Can Win An iPhone 17 Each Month

The campaign also features a Top Spender Contest for cardholders with higher monthly spending. Cardholders who spend at least RM48,000 in qualifying retail transactions within a single month are eligible for consideration.

Each month, eight cardholders with the highest qualifying spend will receive an iPhone 17. Across the full campaign period, a total of 32 prizes will be awarded, with each cardholder limited to one prize throughout the campaign.

Campaign Runs From December 2025 To April 2026

The campaign period spans from 15 December 2025 to 14 April 2026. Spending is tracked monthly and is based on transaction dates recorded by the bank.

The timing of registration affects tracking, as only spending in months following successful registration will be counted toward cash back and prize eligibility.

Eligibility Limited To Principal PB and PIB Visa Cardholders

Participation is open to principal Visa credit cardholders of Public Bank Berhad and Public Islamic Bank Berhad. Spending on supplementary cards is included in the monthly total, but all rewards are credited only to the principal cardholder’s account.

PB Visa Commercial Cards, PB Visa Business Cards, and selected groups, including employees of the Public Bank Group, are excluded from the campaign.

Registration Required Before Spending Is Tracked

Cardholders must register for the campaign before their spending can be tracked. Registration can be completed through PBe using the keyword PBV or by sending an SMS with PBV to 68333.

Only one registration is required per cardholder, even if multiple eligible cards are held, as spending across all linked cards will be aggregated automatically.

Only Selected Retail Transactions Are Eligible

Qualifying retail transactions include local retail purchases, online spending, and the full purchase amount of new zero-interest or management fee instalment plans. All transactions are assessed based on their transaction date.

Excluded transactions include balance transfers, cash advances, utility payments, insurance premiums, government-related payments, auto-debit arrangements, fees, reversals, and other non-retail transactions.

Cash Back And Prizes Credited After Each Tracking Month

Cash back and prizes are credited to the principal credit card account within four to twelve weeks after the end of each tracking month. These rewards will appear in the card statement under a campaign-specific description.

If a qualifying transaction is later reversed, the cardholder must return any cash back or prize awarded for that transaction.
