RHB has announced that the RHB Rewards Motion Code Credit Card/-i will be discontinued [PDF]. Starting 1 September 2025, no new Motion Code cards will be issued.
Existing cardholders may continue using their current card until its expiry date.
To ensure a smooth transition, cardholders with expiring or replacement Motion Code cards will automatically receive the RHB Rewards Credit Card/-i. This card provides the same benefits, allowing customers to continue enjoying rewards without interruption.
Customers who already hold both the Motion Code version and the RHB Rewards Credit Card/-i may continue using their existing RHB Rewards Credit Card/-i. The Motion Code variant will not be renewed once it expires.
If your RHB Rewards Motion Code Credit Card/-i is approaching its expiry, you will be issued the RHB Rewards Credit Card/-i ahead of time. Once received, you are encouraged to activate it promptly.
For customers with recurring transactions such as subscriptions or auto-debit payments, it is important to update payment details with the new card to avoid service interruptions.
Cardholders whose Motion Code cards are valid until 2026, 2027, or 2028 may continue to use them as usual. Before the expiry date, RHB will send out the replacement RHB Rewards Credit Card/-i.
If your Motion Code card is lost, stolen, or compromised, any replacement request from August 2025 onwards will be fulfilled with the RHB Rewards Credit Card/-i. As with renewals, activation is required, and cardholders should update payment details for recurring transactions.
