Maybank Visa Credit Cardmembers now have the chance to win fully sponsored trips to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Finals, Semi-Finals, Quarter-Finals, or Opening Match. The campaign runs from 26 November 2025 until 31 March 2026, giving cardmembers several months to collect entries and take part in the draws. To join, principal cardmembers must register once by sending SMS “FIFA26” to 66628 or by completing the online form provided on Maybank’s website.
The campaign features 108 prizes through monthly draws and an overall draw. Two winners will receive the overall grand prize, which is a four-night hospitality package that includes Category 1 match tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Finals for two people. Monthly grand prizes include hospitality packages for the Opening Match, Quarter-Finals, and Semi-Finals, also for two.
Consolation prizes consist of FIFA World Cup match balls and merchandise packs. These are given out across the campaign months. Winners of monthly grand prizes will not be eligible for the overall grand prize, but consolation prize winners remain eligible for the other draws.
The campaign is open to new and existing Maybank and Maybank Islamic Visa principal credit cardmembers. Supplementary card spending counts towards the principal cardmember’s total. Debit, prepaid, commercial, and corporate cardholders are not eligible. Card accounts must remain active and in good standing throughout the campaign period and at the time prizes are awarded.
Employees of Maybank may also participate, except those from the Cards Marketing Department and Regional Cards Marketing Department.
This is how your transactions add up to entries throughout the campaign. Cardmembers must spend at least RM2,500 in a calendar month to qualify for entry into the draw. Once this requirement is met, entries are awarded based on spending categories. Every RM5,000 spent earns five entries. Spending of RM500 on groceries, dining, and entertainment earns three entries, while RM500 spent overseas also earns three entries. Other retail spending earns one entry for every RM500, and certain categories such as e-wallet top-ups, government-related payments, and charitable transactions are excluded.
Monthly entries are used for the monthly grand prize draws, while total entries accumulated throughout the campaign determine eligibility for the overall grand prize. Spending from supplementary cards is combined with the principal cardmember’s transactions. Depending on how spending is distributed across categories, cardmembers may earn many entries or none at all. The minimum retail spend of RM2,500 must always be met to qualify for the draw.
Winners will be contacted within sixteen weeks after the campaign ends using the contact details registered with the bank. Winners must be able to secure any required travel documents or visas within the stated timeframe. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, and travel prizes must be used by the winner and their chosen companion flying together on the same itinerary.
Consolation prizes will be delivered to the address on record with Maybank. If a winner cannot be contacted after three attempts, the bank may select a replacement winner.
