Alliance Bank has partnered with Visa to run its Let’s Gold, Paris! campaign, where selected credit cardholders will stand a chance to win exclusive grand prizes by applying for a credit card, including a return trip for two to watch the Olympic Games in Paris. Set to run until 30 June 2024, you’ll also receive limited edition cards with special designs that commemorate the Games.

According to the bank, this campaign is open to both new and existing Alliance Bank customers who apply for a Visa credit card during the campaign period and get their application approved latest by 15 July 2024 (including the Visa Virtual credit card). For clarity, here are the eligible cards:

• Alliance Bank Visa Virtual credit card
• Alliance Bank Visa Platinum credit card
• Alliance Bank Visa Signature credit card
• Alliance Bank Visa Infinite credit card
• Alliance Privilege Visa Signature credit card

A batch of the specially designed Olympic Games-themed cards will then be randomly sent out or assigned to the approved applicants; if you receive one, it means that you’ve been chosen as a potential grand prize winner under this campaign! Specifically, there are three types of special cards that are available, with each card indicating which prize you’re entitled to win: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Note that while you’ve been selected to win these prizes, you are also required to fulfil a spend requirement in order to claim them. Simply activate your new card and perform a minimum of one retail transaction worth RM100 within 60 days from the card approval date (online and offline), then contact the bank at 03-5516 9988 to inform them. The bank will confirm your win via phone call, social media post, or a notice on its official website within 60 days after receiving your notification.

Aside from the three grand prizes mentioned above, there are actually also consolation prizes provided for new cardholders who applied for cards but did not receive the special edition cards. These individuals will win an RM30 cashback reward, and they’ll also need to meet the same spend requirement to claim the prizes (minimum one retail transaction worth RM100 within 60 days from approval date).

There is a total of 1,500 consolation prizes up for grabs per campaign month, provided on a first-come first-served basis, as indicated by your retail spend transaction date.

Alliance Bank also stated that each cardholder is only allowed to win one prize per person, and that the Silver and Bronze Grand Prizes, as well as consolation prizes will be credited into the winners’ accounts within three months after the end of the campaign period. Meanwhile, the winners of the Gold Grand Prizes will receive notification on the next steps to collect their rewards.

Lastly, note that this campaign cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions by the bank or its affiliated partners.
