Luno Set To Introduce Several New Cryptocurrencies In 2022
Author Avatar

Cryptocurrency exchange Luno Malaysia has revealed that it is planning to introduce more cryptocurrencies for trading on the platform in 2022.

According to the country manager of Luno Malaysia, Aaron Tang, the company is currently seeking for approval from relevant regulators, including the Securities Commission, to add several new coins to its existing offerings. If Luno is successful in its negotiation, you can expect to see the new coins being rolled out within the first half of 2022.

That said, Luno did not share any details as to which new cryptocurrencies it is looking to add. Based on an ongoing poll within the Luno app, however, it is likely that the new coins may be selected from contenders such as Cardano, Solana, and Uniswap.

At present, Luno offers a total of five cryptocurrencies on its platform, namely Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin – with Bitcoin Cash being the latest addition.
