Maybank has announced the launch of a limited edition Maybank Manchester United Visa debit card, in celebration of a 10-year partnership between the bank and the football club. It is available starting from today.

“With a sleek white design, featuring three Manchester United players, the limited edition cards are only available in 50,000 pieces for new or existing cardmembers on a first-come first-served basis,” Maybank announced in a Facebook post. Football fans will recognise the three Manchester United players featured as Christiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, and Paul Pogba. Meanwhile, an image of the Old Trafford Stadium sits in the background as a tribute to the home ground of the Manchester United football team.

While the limited edition debit card is open to new and existing Maybank Manchester United Visa debit cardmembers, the process to obtain the card differs quite a bit for the two groups. Existing cardmembers are allowed to conveniently replace their cards online via Maybank2u, where they can simply log in and request for a replacement under Settings > Cards > Manage Debit Card > Replace Card. The new card will then be delivered to their preferred address.

New and existing savings and current account customers, on the other hand, will need to visit selected Maybank branches to request for or replace their cards with the limited edition Maybank Manchester United Visa debit card. The full list of these branches is as follows:

The launch of this limited edition debit card design is actually the latest sub-campaign to be announced under a more extensive Maybank-Manchester United 10^th Anniversary campaign, which is ongoing until 2022. Among some other promos that are also provided via this umbrella campaign include a 10x TreatsPoints and a 10% cashback offer for Maybank Manchester United Visa credit cardholders.
