Shopee Is Offering Malaysian MSMEs RM150 Million In Support
Author Avatar

A new RM150 million initiative from Shopee aims to help Malaysian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) manage costs, access working capital, and strengthen their fulfilment operations. Called Shopee Lindung Niaga, the programme was announced on 29 April 2026 and is structured around three areas of support.

Free Shipping And Category Vouchers For Sellers

The first area focuses on transaction support. Shopee is introducing no-minimum-spend free shipping vouchers to help buyers complete purchases without worrying about delivery costs.

For sellers of bulkier items such as furniture and home appliances, targeted voucher support is also available to offset higher delivery costs on these categories.

Working Capital Access Through SLoan And Quick Funds

In partnership with Monee, Shopee is expanding access to two financing products for sellers on the platform.

SLoan for Sellers is designed to facilitate over RM5 million in seller financing, with a 100% interest rate subsidy on the first instalment for new users. Quick Funds offers sellers immediate access to their earnings, with a 50% discount on advance fees and a 20-day free trial for new users.

Six Months Of Free Fulfilment Through Fulfilled By Shopee

Shopee is also opening up its Fulfilled by Shopee programme to more sellers, offering a complimentary six-month trial that covers warehousing and logistics. Sellers already on the programme have seen an average 20% uplift in store traffic, which Shopee attributes to improved visibility and access to platform features. Shopee says buyers on the receiving end of FBS orders benefit from more reliable delivery timelines and a smoother shopping experience.

The Lindung Niaga initiative comes after Shopee introduced a RM0.50 Platform Support Fee per delivered order in July 2025, a cost that sellers on the platform now bear on every transaction.
