AirAsia Rewards Partners Versa To Offer Investment Welcome Rewards
Author Avatar

AirAsia members can now earn rewards when they begin investing, following a new partnership that brings digital wealth management platform Versa into the AirAsia rewards ecosystem.

Under the collaboration, members who sign up as new Versa users and make a qualifying deposit can receive a cash reward alongside AirAsia points. The initiative links everyday investing with travel and lifestyle benefits available within the wider Capital A ecosystem.

Partnership Expands AirAsia Rewards Into Financial Services

AirAsia rewards, the loyalty arm of Capital A, said the partnership marks its expansion into the financial services sector. The move adds wealth management to its list of partner categories and reflects efforts to position AirAsia rewards as a broader lifestyle and rewards platform beyond travel.

AirAsia points earned through the programme can be redeemed for flights, hotel stays, ride services, and other offerings through the AirAsia MOVE app.

Subashini Silvadas, Chief Operations Officer of Capital A, said the collaboration is part of efforts to expand the everyday usefulness of AirAsia points and encourage engagement beyond travel-related spending.

Versa Aims To Encourage First-Time Investors

Versa said the partnership is designed to make saving and investing more accessible, particularly for users who are new to digital wealth management.

Keith MacFarlaine, Chief Marketing Officer of Versa, said the platform focuses on helping users build financial habits gradually, with the collaboration combining investment tools with lifestyle rewards.

How The Air Asia Welcome Reward Works

AirAsia members who register as new Versa users and deposit a minimum of RM100 into any Versa product will receive a RM15 Versa Welcome Reward, along with 400 AirAsia points.

To qualify, members must first redeem the “Free RM15 Welcome Reward + 400 AirAsia points” offer through the AirAsia MOVE app using 400 AirAsia points. After redemption, the voucher can be found under “My Vouchers” in the app, where a unique link is provided to download the Versa mobile app.

Users must then sign up for Versa using the same email address as their AirAsia MOVE account and complete the minimum deposit. Once eligibility is verified, the RM15 reward will be credited to the Versa account, and the 400 AirAsia points used for redemption will be returned to the member’s points balance.

Each participant is eligible to receive the reward once during the campaign period, subject to terms and conditions.

Campaign Period And Reward Credit Timeline

The campaign runs from November 5, 2025 to November 5, 2026.

Both the RM15 Versa Welcome Reward and the returned AirAsia points will be credited within 60 working days after the end of the month in which eligibility is confirmed.

Participants must continue to meet all campaign requirements to remain eligible for the reward, as outlined in the terms and conditions.

Linking Financial Habits With Everyday Rewards

The partnership reflects a broader trend of integrating financial services into everyday digital platforms. By combining investment incentives with loyalty rewards, the collaboration aims to encourage users to explore digital wealth management while continuing to earn and redeem AirAsia points across travel and lifestyle spending.
