CIMB Bank has revised the annual fee for its CIMB e Credit Card and adjusted the Bonus Points required for annual fee redemption. The new rates will take effect on 1 January 2026 and apply to principal cardholders.

Lower Annual Fee For Principal Card

From 1 January 2026, the annual fee for the CIMB e Credit Card (Principal) will be reduced from RM100 to RM80. CIMB confirmed that supplementary cards remain unaffected, as they continue to carry no annual fee.

Customers who wish to view the full list of applicable charges can refer to CIMB’s fees and charges page.

Revised Bonus Points For Annual Fee Redemption

CIMB will also update the Bonus Points required to redeem the annual fee in the 2025/26 Member Rewards Catalogue. The full annual fee redemption will require 40,000 Bonus Points, down from 50,000 Bonus Points. A 50% redemption will require 20,000 Bonus Points, reduced from 25,000 Bonus Points.

Support and Enquiries For Cardholders

Cardholders who have questions or need to raise disputes regarding the revised annual fee may contact CIMB’s Customer Resolution Unit by phone or email. Further information on the CIMB e Credit Card, including fees and charges, is available on CIMB’s official website.
