Overseas Spending With Public Bank Visa Now Comes With RM200 Cashback and Enrich Miles
Author Avatar

Public Bank is running a campaign that rewards overseas credit card spending with cashback of up to RM200 a month, alongside a monthly contest where the top spenders can win 100,000 Enrich Points each. The “Win Enrich Miles Wherever You Fly with PB Visa Credit Card” campaign runs from 10 April to 9 August 2026 and is open to principal Visa Credit Cardmembers of both Public Bank and Public Islamic Bank.

Cashback On Two Spending Tiers And A Monthly Top Spender Contest

The campaign is split into two separate components. The first is a tiered cashback offer based on monthly overseas spending. The second is a monthly contest for the highest spenders, with Enrich Points as the reward.

On the cashback side, spending a minimum of RM3,000 in qualifying overseas transactions within a single month earns RM60. If your monthly overseas spend reaches RM8,000, the cashback rises to RM200. The higher tier replaces the lower one, so you receive one cashback amount per month rather than both combined.

The contest is separate from the cashback. The eight cardmembers with the highest overseas spending in any given month, provided they reach at least RM10,000, each win 100,000 Enrich Points. The contest runs monthly across all four months of the campaign, with a total of 32 winners. Each cardmember can win the monthly prize only once throughout the campaign period.

Registration Must Come Before Spending Counts

To participate, you need to register before any transactions are tracked. Registration can be done online through PBe using the keyword PBTR, or by sending an SMS with the word PBTR to 68333. You must use the mobile number registered with the bank.

Spending that happens before a confirmed registration will not count. If you hold more than one credit card with Public Bank, you only need to register once. Transactions across all your eligible cards, including supplementary cards, will be combined automatically when calculating your monthly total.

Supplementary cardmembers cannot register independently. Any cashback or prize earned through the campaign will be credited to the principal cardmember’s account only.

Transactions That Count And Categories That Are Excluded

Qualifying transactions include overseas retail purchases, online purchases charged in a foreign currency, and the full upfront purchase amount for new zero-interest instalment plans (ZIIP or ZPIP). Monthly instalment amounts from existing plans are not included.

Several categories are excluded: auto-debit and recurring payments, utilities, insurance premiums, government-related transactions, balance transfers, and cash advances. Payments made through the PBe website, the MyPB App, or an ATM also do not count, nor do casino transactions or service and miscellaneous charges.

The Cashback Pool Is Capped And Runs On A First-Come, First-Served Basis

The total cashback available across all participants is limited to RM48,000 per month. Within that pool, the RM3,000 tier carries a monthly allocation of RM21,000, and the RM8,000 tier carries RM27,000. Both operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once a tier’s allocation is exhausted for the month, no further cashback at that level is paid out, even if your spending qualifies. Cashback is credited to your principal credit card account within four to twelve weeks after the end of each tracking month.

Joining This Campaign Affects Eligibility For Other PB Visa Promotions

Registering for this campaign means you will not be eligible to participate in other Public Bank or Public Islamic Bank Visa credit card usage campaigns during the same period. If you are currently enrolled in another PB Visa promotion, or were planning to join one, it is worth confirming whether this campaign would affect that before signing up.

How This Affects Malaysians Who Travel Or Shop Overseas

Overseas card spending often comes from travel, foreign online shopping, or work trips, making the RM3,000 monthly threshold achievable during a short trip. The RM60 cashback on RM3,000 works out to a 2% return, while RM200 on RM8,000 gives about 2.5%, similar to some travel-focused cards depending on your natural spending.

The Enrich Points prize targets heavier spenders. To win 100,000 points, you must be among the top eight overseas spenders each month with at least RM10,000, making it a competitive reward rather than a guaranteed one.

Cashback is limited and first come, first served, so registering and spending early improves your chances of qualifying. If you already spend overseas within these tiers, the campaign adds extra value; if not, the benefit may be smaller once you factor in the required spend.
