The Ministry of Finance is actively promoting Portal Manfaat, a central platform that helps Malaysians access information on government assistance schemes. The portal allows users to check eligibility and apply for aid programmes in just a few steps.
According to the Executive Director of the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (Pacu), Ahmad Jefry Aziz, more than 2.1 million visitors have accessed Portal Manfaat since it went live on 12 September 2023.
He explained that the portal simplifies the process for individuals such as small traders and single mothers. By entering their details online, users can view the types of assistance they qualify for and proceed with applications where applicable.
The Negeri Sembilan edition of the Madani Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2025 has become one of the key platforms to promote Portal Manfaat to a wider audience.
Through the programme, Pacu officers engage directly with the public, offering clear guidance on how to use the portal. Ahmad Jefry noted that this approach supports the aspirations of Malaysia Madani, which emphasises inclusivity, compassion, and overall well-being.
The portal is continuously updated to ensure information remains accurate and relevant. Oversight is provided by the Pantau Madani unit, which monitors developments and adjusts the portal’s content to match evolving government initiatives.
Assistant Director of the Management Services Section, Nur Nadia Zaris Zakaria, shared that the Pacu booth at the Negeri Sembilan PMR received strong public interest. Many visitors sought clarification about the types of aid available to them, with some learning about Portal Manfaat for the first time.
She added that the event provided an opportunity to explain which assistance schemes best suited the needs of individuals and families.
Portal Manfaat is designed to make it easier for Malaysians to identify and apply for financial support from the government. By combining multiple assistance schemes into one digital platform, it aims to reduce confusion, save time, and ensure that more citizens can benefit from available aid.
