Samsung Malaysia has announced that it will be running a special trade-in promo for its new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, where customers who trade in selected older Samsung Galaxy Ultra phones for the latest Ultra model will also be entitled to a free Samsung Galaxy S23. Set to begin tomorrow, the offer will be available until 31 March 2023.
According to Samsung, this buy-one-get-one-free promotion will be applicable to three devices specifically, with some top-up amount required for certain phones:
Eligible devices for the promo | Top-up amount required | What you will get from this trade-in promo |
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra | N/A | – Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (256GB) – Samsung Galaxy S23 (128GB) |
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra | RM199 | – Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (256GB) – Samsung Galaxy S23 (128GB) |
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra | RM399 | – Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (256GB) – Samsung Galaxy S23 (128GB) |
Of course, your existing phone must be in relatively good condition during the trade-in; it should not be cracked or chipped, malfunctioning, or has a non-working screen. Scratches, meanwhile, are acceptable. Do also remember to remove all personal device locks (such as PIN, passcode, fingerprint, and facial) prior to the trade-in.
If you’re interested in this promo or would like to find out more, head on over to any Samsung Experience Stores, or any of the following locations:
This promo is also valid for Samsung’s existing trade-in programme, which lets you bundle up to five devices to trade in for new Samsung devices at an even greater value (available only at Samsung Experience Stores and selected authorised retailers).
The new Samsung Galaxy S23 series – which was unveiled earlier this month – offers its usual line-up of the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. You can read our full coverage of the Galaxy S23 series here to find out more about the phone models.
