Mudah Smoothens Used Car Buying Process With Triple Check System

Mudah.my has partnered with MUV Marketplace to make the used car buying and selling process a breeze with additional services that include car inspection by experts, extended warranty programme, and even financing arrangements.

With this, a Mudah Vehicle Inspection & Protection (mVIP) programme was introduced whereby three main services are provided for buyers. The services are as below:

  1. Verification of car registration and ownership details
  2. Comprehensive inspection of the car
  3. Opportunity for buyers to purchase an extended warranty to protect against future repair costs

Mudah.my’s platform records over 7.5 million monthly visitors and 60,000 cars are currently available for sale. Meanwhile, MUV has a network of trained inspectors who will help generate online reports.

“Understanding the true condition of a used car has been the biggest problem for buyers and sellers. By introducing mVIP, we are creating a transparent and trusted car marketplace by providing an unbiased report on the true condition of the vehicle being bought.

“For even greater peace of mind, we are also able to offer Extended Warranty on the inspected vehicles through the mVIP programme,” said Gaurav Bhasin, CEO of Mudah.my.

Andy Teh, CEO of MUV says, “We are very excited to be working with Mudah.my and provide them with our expertise in used vehicle inspections through our nationwide network of inspection centres and hubs.

“If a seller is not able to come to our centres for inspection purposes, we are also able to send our team directly to his/her doorstep to make the process of buying and selling their used vehicles as convenient as possible.”

“MUV’s 180-point inspection report of vehicles has been used for over RM1.2 billion worth of vehicle transactions on MUV’s online bidding platform. The reports are accepted as the gold standard used by dealers throughout the country to help them trade used vehicles without being physically present to look at the vehicles beforehand”, he continued.

In addition to the programme, Mudah.my and MUV are also looking to offer an end-to-end facilitative service for consumers that will include services such as transfer of ownership, car inspection, and financing arrangements for a fixed fee.

This will further eliminate hassles for car owners who want to sell their cars when they are unfamiliar with the process or when financing is required by the buyers.
