AEON Bank Launches Campaign To Mark First Anniversary
Author Avatar

AEON Bank (M) Berhad has launched a new campaign in conjunction with its first anniversary, introducing a range of customer-focused offerings aimed at encouraging account usage, driving product adoption, and strengthening engagement. Running from 1 June to 31 August 2025 for most promotions, the campaign offers a mix of financial incentives and lifestyle benefits for both new and existing customers.

Promotions include sign-up rewards, enhanced profit rates, spending-based point accumulation, and fee waivers. New customers who open and activate a Savings Account-i during the campaign period will receive 1,000 AEON Points. Debit cardholders will earn 1 AEON Point for every RM1 spent using either the physical or virtual AEON Bank Debit Card-i, with selected grocery purchases eligible for up to 9 AEON Points per RM1.

Customers looking to grow their savings can access a 3.00% annual profit rate through the newly introduced Savings Pot feature, while a six-month Term Deposit-i placement offers a preferential rate of 3.08% per annum, subject to a minimum deposit of RM200. Customers requesting a physical debit card for the first time will also have the standard issuance fee waived.

The campaign follows the end of the bank’s previous 0.88% promotional profit rate for standard savings accounts, which concluded on 31 May 2025. From 1 June, those accounts will revert to a base rate of 0.25% per annum.

Other benefits include two hours of complimentary parking at selected AEON Malls nationwide when entering with the AEON Bank Debit Card-i. Under the “Thursday Is Better Than Friday” promotion, cardholders can earn additional AEON Points for purchases at participating AEON stores. A referral programme offers 1,800 AEON Points for each successful sign-up via referral.

The campaign also waives fees for local ATM withdrawals via the MEPS SAN network. Its grocery rewards component, which offers up to 8x AEON Points for in-store purchases, is capped at 250 million points throughout the promotion period and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The campaign terms and eligibility criteria are available via AEON Bank’s official channels.
