GXBank Introduces RM12 Fee For Physical Card Issuance And Replacement
Author Avatar

GXBank has announced updates to its GX Card Product Disclosure Sheet (PDS), which will come into effect on 17 April 2025. As part of the revision, a new RM12 fee will be imposed for the issuance of a new physical GX Card, as well as for any physical card replacements. This fee will apply at the point of issuance and will be automatically deducted from the user’s GX Account.

However, the bank has introduced a balance-based waiver that allows eligible customers to receive a full refund of the RM12 charge. To qualify, customers must maintain an average balance of RM1,000 or more in their GX Account for 30 consecutive days from the date of the card’s issuance. If the condition is met, the fee will be refunded automatically.

The new fee applies exclusively to physical cards, and digital card issuance remains unaffected. Customers are advised to review the full terms in the revised Product Disclosure Sheet here
