Maybank Customers Now Allowed To Set Daily Limits For FPX Transactions
Author Avatar

Maybank has now enabled a new feature that allows its customers to set their own preferred daily limit for FPX transactions, up to a maximum of RM50,000 per day. Already live, Maybank customers can tap into the feature on the Maybank2u website.

To change your daily limit for FPX transactions, simply follow these steps after logging into your Maybank2u account on the website:

  • Click on “Settings” at the top right corner.
  • Click on the “Pay & Transfer” tab.
  • Select “FPX” and change your limit.
  • Authorise the change via SMS TAC, and you’re done!

Maybank also stated that it will automatically set the daily limit to RM3,000 for customers who do not make any updates by 20 August 2022. Note as well that while you’re now able to change the daily limit for your FPX transactions, the maximum amount allowed for each FPX transaction remains unchanged at RM30,000.

Prior to this, the daily limit for FPX transactions was automatically fixed at RM50,000, with no option to customise the amount to a customer’s preference. The introduction of this latest feature is part of Maybank’s continuous effort to enhance its online banking security.
