RHB To Terminate Its RHB Now Internet And Mobile Banking Platforms
Author Avatar

RHB Bank has announced that it is discontinuing its classic RHB Now Internet and Mobile Banking platforms, effective 31 March 2023. Following that, customers who wish to perform online transactions will need to migrate over to the new RHB Online and Mobile Banking platforms instead.

In a notice to customers, RHB said that the decision to terminate the classic RHB Now platform was made in a bid to “ensure you [the customers] are protected by the latest security enhancements and are able to enjoy our newest online banking features”. Customers are also encouraged to immediately migrate their recurring transactions and favourite accounts in RHB Now to the new online banking platform for a smooth transition – although the process will have to be done manually.

To do so, go ahead and log in to the new RHB Online Banking platform with your existing RHB Now username and password; you will not need to open a new account. Once logged in, you can then do the following:

  • Set up your recurring transactions by clicking the “Enable Recurring” button on the Payment/Recipient Details page
  • Add favourite payee accounts via the “Add to Favourite” feature, or through Account Settings

RHB also advised customers to remove all their recurring transactions from RHB Now in order to enjoy smoother transactions on the new platforms. “With these simple steps, you will be able to carry out fast and seamless banking, complete with the latest online banking features and security enhancements that will protect your transactions anywhere, anytime,” it further highlighted.

If you have any enquiries regarding the termination of RHB Now, or the transition to the new RHB Online Banking and Mobile Banking platforms, you can call the bank’s contact centre at +603 9206 8118 or send an email to customer.service@rhbgroup.com. Alternatively, you can also use the bank’s online feedback form or message them on the RHB Group Facebook page.
