UOB Updates UNIRinggit Rewards Programme Terms And Conditions
Author Avatar

UOB Malaysia has revised the Terms and Conditions of its UNIRinggit Rewards Programme, with changes taking effect on 18 May 2026.

Revised Pay With UNIRinggit Rules

The update to Pay with UNIRinggit affects the feature that allows cardholders to offset purchases using accumulated UNIRinggit points via the UOB TMRW app.

Under the revised terms, eligible transactions must be a minimum of RM50 per transaction to qualify for redemption. This applies to retail transactions posted in the cardholder’s monthly credit card statement and confirmed unbilled transactions. Instalment payments, cash advances, cash withdrawals, balance transfers, and other cash-based products remain ineligible.

Lazada UOB Card holders follow a different set of rules. UNIRinggit earned on this card can only be used to offset purchases on Lazada Malaysia’s e-commerce website, Lazada apps, and Lazada Wallet top-ups, with a minimum transaction threshold of RM4 per transaction rather than RM50.

Once an eligible transaction is made, cardholders have up to 60 days to perform a redemption via UOB TMRW, with the option to select up to 20 eligible transactions per redemption. Partial redemptions are only available for single-transaction redemptions, subject to a minimum of RM1.

What Remains Unchanged

UNIRinggit points will continue to expire on the last day of each quarter, three years after they are earned. Cardholders can still redeem their points through the UOB TMRW app or the UOB Malaysia Contact Centre. The cashback redemption option introduced in the January 2026 update also remains available, with the redeemed amount credited directly to the principal cardholder’s credit card account.
