Affin Bank Campaign Offers 20x AFFIN Rewards Points For Travel-Related Expenses

Affin Bank is currently running a three-day-only campaign in conjunction with the MATTA Fair, allowing eligible cardholders to earn 20x AFFIN Rewards Points for every RM1 spent when they spend a cumulative amount of RM3,000 on airline tickets, hotels, and travel packages. The 20X AFFIN Rewards Points campaign runs from today until 24 March 2024.

To start, you must have the following Affin Bank rewards points credit cards in order to participate in this campaign:

Affin Invikta Visa infinite/World Mastercard-i
Affin Avance Visa/Mastercard-i
Affin World Mastercard/-i
Affin Platinum Mastercard-i
Affin BHPetrol Mastercard
Affin Visa/Mastercard Gold/Gold-i
Affin UKM Alumni Premier World/Mastercard

If you do have any of the qualifying cards, then you can go ahead and earn 20x AFFIN Rewards Points once you meet the specified spend requirement – applicable for both online and offline transactions. The bank also clarified that the 20x AFFIN Rewards Points awarded will consist of additional bonus points offered on top of the existing AFFIN Rewards Points benefit of each card.

So as an example, if you are an Affin AVANCE credit cardholder, your card entitles you to 1x AFFIN Rewards Points for every RM1 spent on retail purchases (including travel expenses). This means that you’ll receive an extra 19x bonus AFFIN Rewards Points under this campaign to hit the promotional 20x points promised. Meanwhile, Affin Duo+ cardholders are already able to earn 3x AFFIN Rewards Points for every RM1 spent on airlines and hotels transactions via the Mastercard half of the pair, so they’ll receive 17x bonus points.

Note that these bonus points will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with a total allocation of 20 million AFFIN Rewards Points for the entire campaign. If you do earn these bonus points, they will be automatically credited to your account within eight weeks after the end of the campaign period. This will also be reflected in your statement.
