If you own a pair of Maybank 2 Cards, here’s some good news because Maybank is running a Maybank 2 Cards Amex Contactless Campaign. Running from now until 30 April 2021, you can get 10x TreatsPoints from your Amex credit card using the contactless feature instead of the usual 5x TreatsPoints on weekdays.

Under the campaign, you can earn 10x TreatsPoints on weekdays as long as you make a contactless payment with your Amex card by waving the card over the terminal. Only transactions that are RM250 and below in a single receipt will be eligible for the 10x TreatsPoints.

To take part in this campaign, you do need to register via SMS by sending Amex<space>12-digit NRIC Number/Passport number to 66628 (eg. Amex 810101086111 or Amex A84958477). You only need to register once within the campaign period to start participating.

Do note that the total TreatsPoints given out under this campaign will be capped at a pool of 25 million TreatsPoints per month on a first come first served basis. Fulfillment of TreatsPoints will be carried out within 12 weeks from the campaign’s end date and credited to the principal cardholder’s account.

This campaign is open to all new and existing principal and supplementary cardholders of both Maybank 2 Gold and Platinum Amex credit cards. So, don’t forget to register via SMS so that you can enjoy double the TreatsPoints on your weekday contactless transactions!
