Hong Leong Mach Credit Cardholders To Receive Wise Or Visa Infinite As Replacements

Hong Leong Bank has announced that existing Mach credit cardholders will receive other Hong Leong credit cards as replacements upon expiry of their current Mach Gold or Mach Signature credit card. Both cards will no longer be usable upon their expiry.

Mach by Hong Leong, which offered a variety of products from credit cards to fixed deposits targeted at urban youths, ceased operations in February 2018. At the time, most customers were able to continue using their Mach products without any changes, with the servicing of those products being taken over by Hong Leong Bank branches.

The latest announcement reveals that upon their current card expiry date, Mach cardholders will not receive the same cards but instead will be issued replacement cards by Hong Leong Bank. Specifically, Mach Gold credit card users will be sent the Hong Leong Wise credit card. The Hong Leong Wise offers 8% cashback on petrol, groceries, and dining on weekends with a minimum spend of RM500 per month.

Meanwhile, Mach Signature credit cardholders will be issued the Hong Leong Bank Infinite credit card, which offers 1 Enrich Mile for every RM2.80 spent locally and 1 Enrich Mile for every RM1.80 spent overseas.

It is likely that Mach credit cardholders who already own either of the Wise or Visa Infinite cards will not have a replacement card sent to them. That said, cardholders who have any enquiries are advised to look out for further information via email, or contact Hong Leong Bank directly.
