Maybank Credit Card Campaign Offers 5% Cashback For Reloads On Selected E-Wallets
Author Avatar

Between today until 15 November 2021, Maybank will be running its Maybank Cards eWallet campaign, which rewards credit cardholders with 5% cashback when they make a minimum of five reload transactions for selected e-wallets in a month. The cumulative total of all the transactions must come up to at least RM600 within a month.

This campaign is the first of its kind from Maybank, which famously ended all cashback and rewards points earning from e-wallet reloads back in 2019. Open to all Maybank Visa, Mastercard, and American Express (Amex) credit cardholders, the following e-wallet platforms are eligible for the campaign:

  • BigPay
  • Boost
  • GrabPay
  • Lazada Wallet
  • Setel
  • ShopeePay
  • Touch ‘n Go eWallet

Each cardholder can earn a maximum of RM30 cashback per month, so if you meet the requirements for all three months, you can earn a maximum RM90 cashback in total as per the following schedule:

Campaign monthPeriod
Month 115 Aug – 14 Sept 2021
Month 215 Sept – 14 Oct 2021
Month 315 Oct – 15 Nov 2021

Your qualifying spend will then be calculated and sorted at the end of each campaign month, and if you do win, the total monthly cashback will be credited into your account. Note that the cashback rewards will be offered on a first-come first-served basis, capped at a maximum of 3,333 customers each month.
