Public Bank Campaign Offers Up To 30% Cashback For Visa Credit Cardholders

Public Bank has launched its PB Visa Credit Card Contactless Usage campaign, which will run from June until 30 September 2021. Depending on the type of card owned, Visa credit cardholders will be able to earn either a 15% or a 30% monthly cashback when they spend a specified minimum amount in a single Visa contactless transaction (Visa payWave).

Specifically, the campaign will allow the following principal credit cardholders to get 30% cashback when they spend at least RM100 in a local or overseas retail transaction, or 15% cashback with a minimum spend of RM50:

Note that expenses that earn cashback or rebates under other ongoing promotions will not be accepted as qualifying spend for this campaign. Additionally, other transactions – such as auto-debits, payments for utilities and insurance premiums, as well as government and charity-related payments – are not included as well.

As always, the cashback will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis. The rewards earned will be credited into your account within four to twelve weeks after the end of each campaign month. Public Bank has allocated a total of RM50,000 per month for this campaign, to be divided equally between both groups (RM25,000 each group).

If you’re interested in joining this campaign, go ahead and register your participation by sending an SMS (PBPW<space>16-digit Principal PB Visa credit card number) to 66300. You must be a principal credit cardholder in order to register; registrations from supplementary credit cardholders will not be accepted, although their expenses will contribute to your qualifying spend.

Additionally, those who have multiple Visa credit cards are only required to register for the campaign once. After that’s done, all amounts charged to your other Visa credit cards will also be automatically tracked for this campaign.
