Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri further said that the toll waivers and discounts are expected to come up to a total of RM77.11 million, adding that the cost will be jointly borne by the government and highway concessionaires.

Finally, the prime minister hoped that this provision of toll waivers and discounts will help to alleviate some of the financial burden of highway users, especially those from the low-income group. He also hoped that it will enliven the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations for Malaysians.
