Versa Introduces Versa SGD, Versa Global-i For Investors
Author Avatar

Versa has launched two new investment offerings under its Versa Invest, namely Versa SGD and Versa Global-i. Both are expected to enable investors with better investment opportunities, allowing them to invest in assets abroad using the Malaysian ringgit (MYR).

Versa SGD is a moderate-risk fund that allows you to invest in Singapore dollar (SGD)-denominated assets using MYR, and its underlying fund is the AHAM Select SGD Income Fund – managed by AHAM Capital. You will be able to invest in established entities like the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp (OCBC Bank), United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB Bank), and CapitaLand Ascendas REIT.

Meanwhile, those who want to invest in international funds and assets using MYR can tap into Versa Global-i. With its underlying fund AHAM Aiiman Global Multi Thematic Fund, this offering is shariah-compliant, and is suited for those with high risk tolerance and medium- to long-term investment horizon. Versa also shared that Versa Global-i is focused primarily on technology and healthcare, consisting of top companies like Alphabet, Visa, Apple, Amazon, and NVIDIA.

As with all its offerings under Versa Invest, you are able to start investing in Versa SGD and Versa Global-i with just RM100. Versa also does not impose any fees to use its platform, including sales charge and brokerage fees, although the fund managers will charge an annual management fee and trustee fee. For Versa SGD, its annual management and trustee fees stand at 1.50% and 0.08% respectively, while Versa Global-i has an annual management fee of 1.80% and trustee fee of 0.05%.

With the launch of Versa SGD and Versa Global-i, Versa now has a total of eight offerings under its Versa Invest feature. Other existing offerings include Versa Moderate, Versa Moderate-i, Versa Growth, Versa Growth-i, Versa Gold, and Versa REITs. Versa also has a savings component called Versa Cash, and provides private retirement scheme (PRS) offerings via its Versa PRS, too, for those who are looking to save for retirement.
