The prices for iPhone 11 and iPhone XR in Malaysia have now been lowered by RM500 , following Apple’s official launch of the latest iPhone 12 series today. You can now get the iPhone 11 starting at RM2,899 and the iPhone XR from RM2,399.
To recap, the iPhone 11 was released last year as the entry-level model for the 11 series. It comes with a dual 12MP ultra-wide and main camera for the rear and a 12MP front-facing camera. The iPhone 11 runs on an Apple A13 bionic chip and claims a battery life of 17 hours of video playback.

128GB | RM3,599 | RM3,099 |
256GB | RM4,099 | RM3,599 |
The 2018-released iPhone XR is a year older and runs on an older Apple A12 Bionic chip, with a very slightly shorter battery life at 16 hours of video playback. It also only has a single rear 12MP camera and a 7MP front camera. However, the iPhone XR has the exact same screen size and resolution as the iPhone 11, at 6.1 inches and 828 x 1792 pixels.

64GB | RM3,599 | RM2,899 | RM2,399 |
128GB | RM3,849 | RM3,099 | RM2,599 |

Meanwhile, the price of the iPhone SE 2020 remains unchanged while keeping its spot as Apple’s cheapest iPhone from RM1,999 onwards. On the other hand, Apple has officially discontinued the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro Max, which were released as the higher-end models in last year’s iPhone series – although you may still be able to get them through authorised resellers.
Therefore, you could say that Apple’s current available line-up starts off with the iPhone SE 2020 as the budget option, the iPhone 11 and XR with the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini in the below-RM4,000 range, and the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max carrying the premium price tag. However, while the Malaysian price list is out, an official pre-order and release date for the iPhone 12 in Malaysia has not yet been announced.
