Just as we're glad that market fuel price is expected to fall, the government has decided to remove fuel subsidy on December 2014. As puzzling as this may seem, we reveal reasons behind this sudden measure.
Like the tiered levels of Dante's Hell, the Government is proposing a new plan for petrol subsidy which limits the amount of petrol people earning above RM5,000 can buy at the subsidised rate.
The government will provide a subsidy of RM30 per month for car owners and RM12 for motorcycle owners.
