Malaysian Telcos Offer Free Calls For 12 Hours In Celebration Of Hari Raya

Local telcos will be offering free calls for a period of 12 hours for Hari Raya, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) announced today. The free calls will be offered starting from 10pm today until 10am tomorrow.
All customers of the following telco providers will be able to enjoy this Hari Raya benefit:
- Digi
- Celcom
- Maxis
- REDtone
- TM Unifi
- TIME dotcom
- Tune Talk
- U Mobile
- Yoodo
- YTL
Minister Saifuddin Abdullah expressed his hope that the free service would allow those who were away from their families due to reinstated movement control order (MCO 3.0) to foster family and friendship ties this Hari Raya. The special offer is set to benefit prepaid the most, as the majority of postpaid packages already offer free calls as part of their monthly packages.
