Discounted Price Of RM5 For MyCity Pass Returns Until 25 July
Author Avatar

Prasarana Malaysia is reintroducing discounts on its MyCity Passes from now until 25 July 2021. With the discounts taken into consideration, the 1-day MyCity Pass now costs RM5 while the 3-day pass is priced at RM15.

The MyCity Pass is a short-term travel pass first introduced in 2019 that allows commuters unlimited rides on the Rapid KL rail (LRT/MRT/Monorail) and BRT networks. A similar discount on the MyCity Passes was offered between July to December of last year in an effort to boost domestic tourism.

“Prasarana is committed in supporting the government’s aspirations to lighten the financial burden of public transport users this pandemic period,” said Acting President and Group CEO of Prasaran, Datin Hjh Norlia Noah. “Besides that, this initiative is hoped to help encourage domestic tourism among Malaysians.”

You can purchase the MyCity Pass at any RapidKL service counter at LRT, MRT, monorail, and BRT stations. Do note that the price of the pass does not include the cost of Touch ‘n Go card required or the RM5 minimum balance that you need to maintain at all times. Lastly, don’t forget to bring along your MyKad as you will need to present it during purchase.
