OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad has introduced the OCBC Stitch Debit Card, Malaysia’s first-ever Disney-themed debit card. The launch forms part of a strategic five-year collaboration between OCBC Bank and Disney, aimed at delivering meaningful, imaginative experiences to customers.
The collaboration between OCBC and Disney was first announced in October 2024, spanning the bank’s key markets of Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The Stitch-themed card marks the first offering in Malaysia under this initiative, with OCBC promising more family-oriented and fan-based experiences for its customers in the near future.
According to Sammeer Sharma, Head of Consumer Financial Services at OCBC Bank, the initiative aims to bring storytelling, imagination, and emotional resonance into the world of banking.
“This is a fresh way for us to connect even more deeply with our customers and delighting them in ways that go beyond what tends to be expected. With more Disney-themed offerings on the horizon, we are bringing a touch of fun and imagination to the everyday banking experience of our customers,” he said.

He added that the bank expects to gain an increase of 100,000 in new-to-bank current and savings account customers through the collaboration in the next 24 months.
The OCBC Stitch Debit Card is available to customers who open or hold an OCBC 360 Account or OCBC 360 Account-i. Those who apply via the OCBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app will receive a RM30 Welcome Cash Reward. Additionally, customers stand to earn up to RM45 in Touch ’n Go eWallet Reload PINs when they deposit, pay, and spend each month for three consecutive months after account opening.

To mark the launch, the bank is hosting a nationwide contest, offering participants the chance to win a specially curated trip to Hawaii inspired by Disney’s live-action “Lilo & Stitch”.
“Many people in Malaysia continue to resonate with Stitch’s big-hearted personality, and his story of family and togetherness. We hope our contest will bring ‘Lilo & Stitch’ to life beyond the screen, offering an exciting way for people to connect with their favourite story,” Mr Sammeer said.
The contest runs from 5 May to 31 July 2025 and is open to all OCBC card members. For more information or to participate, customers can visit the bank’s website or follow OCBC Bank on its Facebook channel.
