OCBC Bank has announced that its Premier Account will be renamed the OCBC Current Account Plus [PDF]. The change takes effect on 31 December 2025, and customers will see the updated name reflected in monthly statements, Internet Banking, and the Mobile Banking app.

Key Changes To The Account

The minimum initial deposit requirement will also be revised from RM3,000 to RM1,000. The account, previously available only to Premier and PPC customers, will now be open to all customer segments. OCBC has confirmed that product features, benefits, fees, charges, and existing account numbers will remain unchanged.

Customers can continue using their account as usual, as only the product name and initial deposit requirement are being updated.

What Existing Customers Can Expect

Customers who currently hold the Premier Account do not need to take any action. Banking services will function as before, and the change will be visible only in how the account name appears across customer touchpoints such as statements and digital banking platforms.

Customer Support And Enquiries

Customers who have questions regarding the renaming can contact OCBC through its customer service channels. Personal Banking enquiries can be made by calling 03 8317 5000, while Premier Banking enquiries can be directed to 03 8135 4288.
