CIMB Bank has revised the minimum annual income requirement for two of its credit cards, namely the CIMB Visa Infinite and CIMB Visa Signature cards.
Specifically, the minimum annual income requirement for the CIMB Visa Infinite card has been halved from the previous RM120,000 to the updated RM60,000 (RM5,000 per month). Meanwhile, CIMB Visa Signature now requires you to have a minimum annual income of RM36,000 in order to apply (RM3,000 per month), as opposed to the previous RM60,000.
Other than that, all the other features and benefits of both cards have remained unchanged, as indicated below:

| Bonus Points | – 5x Bonus Points for every RM1 spent on dining and shopping overseas – 1x Bonus Point for other local spend | – 2x Bonus Points for every RM1 spent overseas – 1x Bonus Point for other local spend |

With the lowered minimum annual income requirement – a revision that was made sometime earlier this month – both cards will now be accessible to more cardholders who have been interested in applying for them. In particular, these cards are best suited for frequent travellers who are also keen on PPL and other travel privileges.

Is there any chance to upgrade from Platinum to Signature if my requirement is met ?
Some how they lower the standard to attract more upper B40 / M20 instead of T20 income level to profit more, just saying.
i tried to use my CIMB Visa infinite at PPL Klia1 2 weeks ago and it was rejected
You need a spending cap of 100 thousand yearly to enjoy this benefit
Happened to me too. When I called the customer service, apparently there is a RM100k (or RM120k?) minimum spending a year on the credit card before you are able to utilise the lounge access. Better off just signing up with another bank
