CTOS, Malaysia’s leading credit reporting agency, is partnering with RinggitPlus to offer Malaysians free MyCTOS Basic Report with CCRIS. This limited-time offer is available from 1 September to 30 November 2024, giving you the perfect opportunity to assess and improve your credit health at no cost.

The campaign is part of CTOS’ goal of helping Malaysians better understand credit health, and is open exclusively to new CTOS users. Interestingly, this free report is not available for purchase, and is only available through this special campaign.

For context, the MyCTOS Basic Report with CCRIS – offers additional data than the MyCTOS Basic Report. This report also includes information from CCRIS such as your debt data, payment histories for loans and credit cards, account balances, credit limits, and bank enquiries, as well as additional details such as legal and bankruptcy cases, directorships, business interests, and non-bank debts (trade references).

This initiative is intended to allow those who have never purchased a credit report to familiarise themselves with the type of information included and its significance for financial decisions. By providing this report at no cost, CTOS aims to make credit information more accessible and encourage better financial literacy.

If you’re interested in claiming the free MyCTOS Report with CCRIS as a new CTOS customer, head on over to the campaign’s landing page here and register for the CTOS Self-Check service; to date, more than 4 million Malaysians have already signed up for the CTOS Self-Check service to improve their financial health. Other users who would like to check their CTOS Score can also purchase the MyCTOS Score report here at the price of RM27 per report.
